Held steady this week, which is a minor miracle in itself. Pre-bar exam results stress plus post-bar exam results celebration at Oktoberfest had me way off my diet game mentally. I'm on it this week though.
Also holding steady, which is a bit depressing since I ate really well all week AND increased my exercise. Guess I'll tell myself it's muscle mass. At least I'm still under 190!
My scales gave me a range of readings this morning ... not sure what is going on. The range was from 193 - 195. Since last week i was at 194.5# I will call it even for this week. This is a good thing seeing as how it was Thanksgiving here in Canada and I stuffed myself with turkey and all the trimmings!!!
Well it's been a bad week for me. I'm up 3lbs this week. Matter of fact it's been a bad 3 months for me.
Started the Challenge in April and lost 35lbs in the first 3 months. Since July I've been up and down(mostly Up) +/-5lbs, but I'm determined that this week I'm going to jump start my weight loss again. I've got a good start the last two days.
Great new offer on the Analox CO EII - Limited time! I've arranged for a great deal on this item for Scubaboard members. Price is so low I can't list it here! This offer is good till May 15, 2012. Gotta love the waffling scale effect. I always weigh myself at the same time (right after my morning shower), and I'm amazed how much it can change in a day. Case in point this week - yesterday I was bummed that I was holding steady at 189.5, and this morning it says 188. I'm sure tomorrow morning it will be somewhere else. It's frustrating having 1-2 pound error bars on my readings, when I'm trying to LOSE 1-2 pounds a week!
It's best not to get yourself worked up too much with a 1-2 pound "error." It is good to weigh yourself every week to keep yourself honest, but step back and look at the trend over a month or two and you will see change. Plus, if you just started changing your diet/exercise a month ago, you might be hitting your first plateau. *ducking* All of this takes some time, so be proud of the progress you've made - heck the progress everyone here has made - and let the more important things in this world frustrate you... Global warming, reef bleaching, depletion of pelagic species...
