Meanwhile for me, I've been absent for a couple of weeks... and bad. I have been rollercoastering and am up 2# since last weigh in. I have been exercising more so at least there is some good news in there.
After two escapades since I last posted - a skydiving weekend with much partying and an off-roading camp week in Georgia with much drinking and eating grilled foods, I have to report that I am down 3lbs. I now weigh 169lbs with my objective of 164lbs definitely in sight!! That will bring me in to the body mass fat ratio thing of average I know that doesn't take into consideration of the muscle increase that's been happening as a by product of all this working out but I'll take it
I'm down 1.5 this week, which is my weekly goal. Total of 8 pounds so far, with plenty left to go. But I've increased my daily workout (swimming) to a solid hour, which I'm darned proud of. Even did my 100 laps in the rain yesterday (outdoor pool, at least it's heated)- yeeha.

Hi, all! I am sorry that I have not reported in for so many weeks now. Things just keep on making my life so busy and crazy right now.
However, since I do see my doctor once a month to keep my weight tracked I did go today and get weighed. I am proud to say, but yet slightly embarrassed that I have lost 2.0 lbs. in one month. That is not a lot for one month, but I can honestly say I have not tried very hard. What with all the things going on with my Dad and his cancer treatments, my Mom with alzheimers, her falling down hitting her head required staples leading to us getting her moved into a skilled nursing facility. One month ago I asked or rather told my Dad that as much as I love him and do want to help out I really felt that he would be happier in an apartment nearby. We were really getting on each others nerves it seemed, plus he has his friends that want to come from out of town and spend not just a few days around but weeks. All of this culminated over the last 4 weeks and he now has his own apartment, my mother is settled into her new home and I feel much more relieved. Dad is about 5 miles down the road, and my Mom is about 2 miles from me. I can still be there for them, but can have time on my own too.
I am actually going diving this coming weekend. Yeah! But, it will be due to a side trip to take my Dad to his Condo in Destin to pick up some of his things. Atleast he is keeping his condo so he or the rest of us in the family have it to go and enjoy. This means a great dive spot for me to visit more often.
Well, I am done blowing off about my problems, such as they are. Really though things are looking up. My Dad has been responding fair to the treatments and looks as though he may be ok for awhile yet. His cancer is not going to be ever totally eradicated, but he can get some remission and quality time left. My Mom is not fairing quite as well. She is partially aphasic, but every once and awhile she will speak. She gets frustrated when she wants to and can't. It is hard to see her this way. Totally dependant on others to feed her, help her with all activities and mostly because she cant say whatever it is she wants to.
Hope everyone else is doing a good job with their weight and fitness. I will check in again when I can.
Well i made it into the gym again and found i was down 1# or so to 230#, so starting to slowly head in the right direction again. Still another 5# to reach where i was pre-hurricanes and 10# til i reach my first real goal or pre-US living weight.
