After a long winter of marginal conditions, we finally managed to get in some beautiful dives this weekend. We did a couple days' of diving off of the Escapade in the Yankee Pt. area on a structure called Mt. Chamberlin, and also one at Locals' Ledge

Highlights included seeing a ratfish (no picture), and also a hagfish (those slimy eel-like things that live on the ocean floor and eat dead whale carcasses).

Rob, how deep did you go? to get to those scavengers? We spend sweet time in pt lobos :)

Fantastic shots, Rob. You really look advantage of the good viz with your wide angle shots.

Thanks Rob,

Wow those are beautiful pictures! Love the hydrocoral.

Who is that lovely model with such excellent trim? :p

Just make sure you're not obsessed with staying horizontal exactly 100% of the time, or you may incur the wrath of those who know better! :eyebrow:

Awesome pictures, and I'm glad you guys were able to take advantage of the great conditions!
