Strange Veo 100 behavior

Have an older (2 yr maybe) Veo 100 (r1c firmware) and it started acting funny after I replaced the batteries. Went to reset the date / time and it only allows me to set the time, no date is offered. Nor does Gauge Mode come up either as it should according to the manual.

Anyone see this before?

Will call Oceanic Tech support on Monday when I get a chance, don't know if it's something I am not doing or what.

I had strange behovior in my VEO 200 after changing the battery, cleaned contacts, tested battery voltage, reinstalled battery, many times ... all to no avail ... I bought another battery and installed it and all was OK ... just because a battery is new, or has correct voltage, does not mean it has to be good
.. try a new one?

Yep... 2 brand new ones... same thing... did same thing you did...

Oh well, looks like a call to Oceanic is in order today.
