I was diving with my son yesterday. Just some quarry diving for fun.
Anyway, today I went to download my Veo 180nx no problems downloaded fine.
Then I connected to his Veo 100nx. Wanted to see what would happen. I was surprised to see the Veo 100nx automatically went into PC mode and started the countdown. It could not complete the hand shake so it terminated.
After disconnecting the computer shut off. (We still have 2 hours of NO FLY time)
When I powered it back up it cleared the NO Fly and set the nitrogen load to zero. Each pre-dive depth had reverted to the longer 0 nitrogen no decompression times.
If this happend on a dive site you would have a dive computer with no record of your current RNT.
