can't set VT3 date

I can't seem to set the date on my VT3. It's stuck in 2006, probably since the battery died after a few years of non-use. I replaced it about a year ago. Using Oceanlog 2.x I write the settings including date, which seems to work, but then the date hasn't changed. Does anyone have any ideas?

Try setting it manually on the VT3

Starting on page 57 of the manual.

It does say the date resets to 1.1.2006 when the battery is replaced.

Thanks, that worked. I wonder why it didn't work in Oceanlog. I think it used to....
