Interesting coincidedence...yesturday I was just playing with a pair of XXL's at my LDS. I'm in WA, so that doesn't help you any; however, good ol' Leisure Pro has them in stock for $64.95 with free shipping.
I've also noticed that Jet Fins are selling for around $55, used, on e-bay. They practically doubled in price for this holiday season. Go figure.
how much bigger fin do you need? If you need a huge step up from your current fin go with the xxl, but if your xl's are just a little too tight the xxl may be to big. Try a turtle fin. I have a size 13 shoe with xxl dry suit boots and there are just right.
I just went through the same disaster! AFTER trying the xxl jets, and the turtles. (both too big) I ended up with the super rockets, which fit like I had them made for me.

What an amazing reference chart! It's the most useful thing I've seen (my LDS has been no help) and tells me that turtles are the best thing for a size 12 Rock boot! Thanks so much for the help!

I've got a pair of turtles for sale with spring straps. If you're interested, send me a PM.
"I will spare you a gushy description of the dive itself, except to say that when you finally see what goes on underwater, you realize that you've been missing the whole point of the ocean. Staying on the surface all the time is like going to the circus and staring at the outside of the tent. "
