New Improved Frogman from LED LENSER

i got and reviewed this (but not in diving and someone else is doing for this as of now)

So lets take look for the new Frogman from led lenser.
7456-old model Frogman for Neon Yellow
    7457-old model Froeman for black
7456III- new model Frogman for Neon Yellow
7457III- new model Froeman for black

Now its now anymore a "turn the head" to switch on, its s magnetic switch
O-ring- now they make a dual/double (before its only one oring)

in the pics its not noticeable but in actual i can say its 30% to 40% more bright

i heard a rumors they are using now a cree for this model but some says its only a proto type cree but one thing for sure they improved the bulb to give more light

this is available within few weeks (hopefulle next month) and if im not mistaken, this one is not yet available in the market (philippines)
so any one interested, just reply here then ill send you pm when the item is available

    thanks

    Hi,

Does this LED Lenser Frogman 2 torch work well with high capacity NiMH rechargable batteries? I prefer to charge than use alkalines and throw away.

    Thanks,

Thanks for the heads up on the new model. Having been happy with the old style, which was plenty bright enough, the improved version should really impress for its size. Double o-rings and especially the new flick switch vs old twist method of off/on also look good.

I use 2500 mAh NiMH batteries with excellent results.

B&H Photo is where I got mine. Fantasea seems to be the brand name used in the US. Just look for Fantasea frogman LED and you should find a few sellers. I was surprised to see a non-branded frogman, it looked identical, in Lowes Hardware on the shelf next to the checkout lane last year.

But I think it will take little while (few months?) for the new model to show up, all I can find online now is the old model. Probably the best bet is to go to the Philippines to purchase and then get in a few dives to test it out

Hi, are there several versions/type of led lenser frogman torch?
I found 2 different (seems to me) ones.

    1. COAST Led-Lenser Frogman
    and
    2. Led-Lenser Frogman

There specification, packaging seems the same. Are there any difference? Pardon me for my ignorance.
