For Sale: VR3 Dive Computer - 2007 Monochrome Display
Hi all,
I am selling my VR3
2007v3C firmware Monochrome unit (orig around $1100)
Open circuit and closed circuit Trimix (C4) & Nitrox - orig around $225
CCR External PO2 enabled (I/O Port Activation for External O2 Sensor, no cable) - orig around $225
To sum it up, you can dive this unit using Nitrox or Trimix, both open or closed circuit (if you have the proper training). If you dive a CCR you can hook up your 4th sensor for external PPO2 monitoring (you need to buy the cable for that but the software is enabled).
This unit is in great shape with no scratches on the screen or the body. Comes with a new battery installed, a brand new set of installed push buttons that were installed last week, a spare set of push buttons, 2 spare battery compartment O-rings, a new plastic film screen protector, the battery compartment tool, the original box, manual, and computer CD.
The computer offers so many options and capabilities that its not possible to describe them all in this short space. It offers 10 user programmable and selectable gases, any of which can be selected and/or modified while underwater. It has a user selectable safety factor, backlighted display, a game that can be played while on deco, a graphical dive log display, and much, much, more. I always found the VR3 monochrome to be very readable and its by far the best computer that Ive had for rec/tech diving.
Ive had the unit for about 1.5 years and have about 50 dives or less on it. You get those dives for free in the computer dive log. Ive never had a problem with the unit and would rather have my wife use it than sell it, but she's not interested in diving anymore.
The whole thing cost me $1550, I'd like to sell it for $750 including US shipping. If you'd like to make an offer, I'll consider it.
