just putting together my bp/w set up. i got a great deal on a wing from a board member here. i am still in need of a aluminum plate. SO, if anyone has one laying around they want to part with, let me know what ya have and how much you are looking to get for it. thanks.
That's the route I'd go also. Actually, I'm thinking about getting one. I just started with a SS plate, thinking "when would I ever need less weight?". But an Al plate would be nice to have, and the Cave Adventurers price can't be beat.
I bought the special but don't need the plate. (Thought I did.) If anyone is interested in just the plate I have it for sale. $55 shipped CONUS. ($69+$10 shipping-$24 harness=$55 plate) PM me and I will respond after work.
I'm actually here in town and I'm getting ready for my purchase and I'm picking up an SS plate / harness as well and may pick up this AL plate/harness just to have for no other reason than to have it. When I dive doubles, the AL plate is a nice-to-have since the weight certainly isn't needed. good luck whichever way!

if you can find < $45, go for it. The Hammerhead is a good price but remember you are getting things from HH "as cut." This means they don't shot blast and it may require some finishing. If you're ok with that, great. If not, consider the deal from CA (or go with what you've found).

Actually that is not true. The only things that they sell that are "as cut " are their STAs. All of their BPs are shot blasted and they will actually do the same on their STAs if you request it but it costs extra.
