Gear For Sale: Instructor has stopped teaching and selling gear (from A-Z)
The following gear has been used by a instructor for teaching classes and has been maintained impeccably by the instructor who is also a certified service tech for Seaquest, Scuba-Pro, and PSI. Service records are available for all items listed below.
The instructor would like to sell this as a group but is willing to break up, but please serious offers only as this gear is very good condition and very well maintained
This list is a rough list I will be going back out to the instructor this weekend for a more complete list
These BCD’s & Regs were used for training but would be great a good first set of gear for new divers just getting started and at a good price
BCD's
Scuba-Pro (Tradewind): from what I have gathered this was a BCD was designed for teaching and wasn’t available on the open market. These are in very good condition but some of the nylon trim is faded from being in a chlorine pool. Note: non-weight integrated, and include web weight belt
Sizes:
Small: (4)
Medium: (2)
Large: (4)
Seaquest: Model—Spectrum 1: these are in very good condition, similar to the SP but with much less fading, but a little fading due to being used in a chlorine pool. Note: non-weight integrated, and include web weight belt
Regs:
Scuba-Pro
Mk 2+ First Stage with R190 Second and R190 Octo (5 sets available)
Seaquest: from looking at these they look like apex regulators and from the time that they were bought by the instructor this would have been the time that seaquest was selling apeks branded under there own logo. The look to be US4 or DS4 first Stages and AT20 or ATX40 second stages and coordinating octos
7 sets available-- $250-300 per set (1st, 2nd , octo and guage package (pressure, depth, compass) - retail for these would be over $600 new)
Tanks:
All tanks are in hydro (5/03, original in 1998) and VIP, or will be upon delivery, valves were all serviced when tanks were hydro’d, they are 200 bar K valves.
Would prefer to sell locally (DFW Area) but will ship but buyer will pay shipping, but then VIP wont be provided because of shipping regulations that would void the VIP
Al 63: $100 each. 2 Avail: Clear Alum finish
AL 80: $110 each. 8 Avail 6 Clear Alum finish, 1 Red, 1 Green
Right now I have pictures but don’t have them edited to post so give me till tomorrow I will post them. Also if I have a error in my listing or description please pm
Tooth
Note: I am not benefiting from the sale of this gear at all, I am simply helping a instructor sell off their teaching and misc personal gear. Furthermore I have cleared this two weeks ago with NetDoc for posting.
