    I just don't log dives

    For Sale-R/C Airplane-Trainer

    From my other hobby:
I have trained all my buddies and family on this plane, and no longer need it. It is a flat wing trainer, no dihedral, resembles a Sig Kadet, and built from Plastic material, which means no Balsa to smash, and no flimsy covering to worry about. This plane is bullet proof.
Engine is a Magnum 40 BB, and runs perfect. Radio is a Futaba 4 channel with Trainer Switch.
All servos are standard Hitec, and it has a 1100mah NiMh battery.
Wing has single servo for both ailerons.
    Tricycle landing gear.

I can have pics up later if anyone is interested.
$125 for everything. Just gas her up and fly.

Is it sort of a US Air Core type model?

Just asking, not really intersted in buying (as I sit in the den with three completed 2 Meter sailpalnes, the .40 sized duratrainer, a .40 sized aerobatic trainer, a scratch built .40 sized low wing sport plane, a quickie 500 racer, plans, wood and hardware for a scratch built .60 sized sport model, a just started semi-scale scratch built U-2, short kits for a very scale 2 meter 1-26D and a larger 100" 1-26E, a still in the box .46 sized scale Sig Smith Mini-Plane kit, a couple 36/600 class sailboats, and a spouse who will probably kill me if I buy another R/C model.)

With the mild winters lately I have been doing more diving than normal in the off season. That combined with the boat we rebuilt a few years ago and the competing demands of the master's degree I am just finishing, means the R/C building projects have been stacking up.

I want to finish the U-2 though this winter and the 1-26's should be easy to hammer out by spring as all the major parts are already cut.

I bought the Smith Mini-plane kit as I like the plane and one day want to own and fly a full scale copy. But as kits go it is pretty complex and will take some serious time to do well so ti is probably a next season project.

Ah yes, the style is almost exactly like the original Air Core Trainer planes. I will have pics soon.
