I purchased this suit on Ebay recently and it is too small for me. The seller said he was 5’9” and 185 pounds. He must have been skinny!!! I’m 5’8” and 175 pounds, the length is not an issue but it’s too tight around my torso. I wear a 41 jacket. I hate that the suit doesn’t fit because it is in excellent condition. I really can’t tell that it’s ever been worn. The decals are even still perfect, no wear or flaking. I paid $65 for the suit and felt like that was a steal, if it fit me, it would have been a steal. I will sell it for the same price to include shipping to the lower 48.
Below is the description right off the Ebay auction.
“Henderson 6mm Scuba Dive Wetsuit with Hood.
Farmer John Style 2 piece with shorty and hood.
Men's Medium- At the time I bought this suit I was 5'9" and 185lbs. I bought this suit when I was in college and wrestling, so I remember my exact weight and height. I was muscular, lean and had big thighs from playing hockey so the suit was snug in the legs, a touch wide in the belly, and snug in the chest. I would suggest that if you have a very athletic physique, then this may not be the best suit for you, and probably a lot of clothes are a problem. But if you have an average build then it would probably fit well. Go here for current Henderson sizes. http://www.hendersonusa.com/size_charts.html Currently, a Henderson Medium is showing 5'10" and 150-170lbs, but I'm not sure if those size charts have changed over the past few years.
This wetsuit is the 2 piece style which has a Farmer John for your legs and torso and a Long Sleeve Shorty/Jacket for your arms torso and thighs.
This suit has a nice orange plush interior to help restrict water movement. Has a tight seal around wrists and ankles to keep the water out. There is also a thick spine pad and knee pads. I have dove with this wetsuit in 35 degree water in comfort.
The suit color is all black. The suit is in excellent condition, seams are tight and zipper works perfect. This suit is my own personal gear, bought new and has been well taken care of. “
