Looking for input on 790SW or 850SW use underwater

Wondering if anyone has any experience they can share with olympus 790SW or 850SW use underwater (with the underwater housing)? Are you happy with the photos it takes underwater at depth (dives in my area easily get up to 100')? Would you recommend it for regular dive use for a point & shoot photographer?

I'm quite happy with my 790SW I'm Just trying to get a feel if it's worthwhile to invest twice the value of the camera in an underwater housing and strobe or if I am wasting my limited budget and should get something that is better suited for diving.

Any info appreciated.

Here are a couple of links to recent discussions on the SW series cameras:

Olympus 770SW Review

They should help you get started, at least!

I have the 720SW and have a couple of friends with more recent models, including one who uses the housing. I still feel there are way better deals for getting into underwater photography than this range, but they are sexy and fun
