I have the PTE05 and have two ys110a and am trying to get it to work with ttl. I have the Athena converter and am connecting them with the sea and sea cable but it does not seem to want to work. Any ideas? do I need to change anything on the camera check certain fittings put it on a speacial setting? any help would be appreciated.

First the strobes should work with fiber optic cords using the pop-up flash on the camera to trigger the strobes. I always shoot my Olympus cameras in manual mode and have used the Athena conversion circuitry in the past before switching to fiber optics. Both work best with the camera in manual mode and the strobes set to the TTL setting. I use Inon strobes but the Sea & Sea strobes should work the same way.

The Nikonos type connector from the Athena converter into the housing bulkhead can also be installed wrong, so recheck that connection.
