folks

after each shot on yr OMD using the view finder, do you get a review on the LED display automatically? or do you have to select manually?

On the OMD EM5, you have 5 menus:
Shooting Menu 1, Shooting Menu 2, Playback Menu, Custom Menu and Setup Menu (with the wrench symbol)

Under the Setup Menu, go to Rec View, hit 'ok' and it will bring up the time to display each photo. The default, I believe, is 0.5 sec, so it just flashes and is gone. If you wanted to see the picture again, you'd have to hit the playback button each time. With the Rec View setting, you can adjust the time to display each image anywhere from Off to 20 seconds. Don't forget to hit 'ok' again to confirm your selection before backing out of the menu.

Note-Even if you selected 20 seconds, you can always enable live shooting again with a half press on the shutter button to clear the screen and quickly take another shot.

I would refer you to two places to find great information on setting up your OMD for topside and underwater

...and, if you are using the EVF (electronic viewfinder) the image shows up in the EVF! No more rocking the camera from viewfinder to display to see the last picture you took. No need to take your eye off the viewfinder between shots. Nice feature.

2 seconds is pretty decent to set it too
