OK, I update the firmware and now have the settings back.

When I go into WA fish mode, I cannot manually set shutter/aperture, good.

I can go back to manual, but in that mode I ALWAYS get pre-flash. Have I always had that? Can I turn it off? How do I switch over to the compensation so I can set it to -1.

Signed, Stuck in Raotan and having a blast!

Unfortunately that does not have the setting to make the flash work when it is in the down position. If you turn on UW mode that makes the flash work in the down position, but you cannot manually change Shutter/aperture in that mode.

There is a hidden spot to turn the flash on in the down position no matter what. I forgot where.

OK. Not sure if this is it, but when you go in the fish mode, if you hold the fn button down, it will exit the fish mode and go back to manual, but the flash will still operate in the down position.
