    Macro & C-50 zoom

I really like my camera and the pictures I'm making with it. I am disappointed about the macro capabilities. I can't really get closer than 15-20 cm wothout loosing the focus. I tried also out of the water and that's the same. I really like to make macro pics like the guys with the 5050s and 5060s. A macro lens woul resolve my problem? Is there any other C-50 zoom owner around who can share with me his experience?
    bye :06:

    C50

The manual states that the minimum focussing distance for the C50 in macro mode is 30cm in full Tele (T) and 20cm in full wide (W). So if you go closer than that the camera will not be able to focus.

Adding a close-up lens gets your camera (lens) to focus closer than its normal minimum focusing distance.
