Went back again July 10 - 72 on the bottom, very comfy.
Vis a bit better.
Issue with a boater who insisted on putting in his gas & electric powered boat at the scuba park. There was a regatta going on and some boats screamed through the park during warm up, but the regatta organizers were quickly on them and ordered them to turn around.
I haven't been there but I understand there are a number of items sunk to take a look at. I also don't believe there is a fee to dive there but I may be wrong. I am going to give it a try as it is only a 40 minute drive for me.
Was out to Welland today. The visibility was patchy, generally about 7-10 feet. It was warm all the way to the bottom--I got 76 F, but my computer is slow to settle to temperature. Checked out the wreck, the model "submarine," and the pilings around the swing bridge. There seemed to be more fish than last year: small mouth bass, large mouth bass, rock bass, perch, and carp. A good dive, especially with the fantastic weather.
