    Lake Simcoe ice

Lake Simcoe is still frozen solid ,but the ice is starting to go rotten. A van went through the ice a couple days ago and around here that means spring is just around the corner!

Did they get it out yet, or do we have a new "wreck" to dive?

I saw that on the news. Didn't look like it was very deep as the van was half way out of the water.

I think you need to pick and choose your locations more carefully right now. I dove there last weekend (around Big Bay Point)and the ice was about 18" thick still. I heard there was open water at Centennial beach though.
