I received this email from Dr. Ernest Campbell AKA Scubadoc regarding the closing of the Hyperbaric Chamber in Toronto:

***********************************************************************************************

We have a communication from one of our subscribers concerning the projected closure of the TGH Hyperbaric Chamber, as follows:

Dear Diving Friends

You probably have not yet heard that Toronto General Hospital is closing its Hyperbaric Chamber next week. Apparently they have known about this for over a year but are just announcing it now. It is at least 1.5 to 2 years before their new chamber comes on line.

You can check The Toronto Star http://www.thestar.com and search under "hyperbaric" for more info.

If this has you worried too, put some pressure on Tony Clement who can direct the hospital to keep the chamber open. Send an email to the people listed below. There is still some time left.

Minister of Health and Long-Term Care
Hon. Tony Clement

We thought that our Canadian members might be interested in writing these representatives.
