It was 61F on the Connie and Lock 28 today, windy as h3ll too!

Current 60 - 61 degrees. Did a night dive on the Rothesay last with a nice couple visiting from Belgium. It was a beautiful dive with lots of big fish and 67 minutes of bottom time.

You can check the water temps any time at:

When we did the Daryaw on Thursday night I got 59 degrees at the bottom!

It was 60F today in the river. Did the Keystorm, King Horn, and Ivy Lea Wall. Not bad at all. A seriously kicking wind yesterday, but today was fairly calm.

The temps seem to be dropping off way too quickly, sigh... Did you actually get out for a boat dive yesterday or were the winds too wicked?

We managed to get out both Saturday and Sunday on a charter out of Peck's Marina. Saturday morning we did the Keystorm and the King Horn. The swells were a couple of feet on our way out and then got up to about four feet or so. The boat was really rocking by the end of our first dive, so it was pretty hairy getting back on deck. Did the King Horn just outside of Rockport for the second dive, which was a bit calmer. Today was not problem at all.

Yep, seems like the cooler weather is dropping the temps. Probably will be in the high 50s by next weekend.

we dove Keystorm and a couple others the 3 week of October last year and it was 56 degrees, which wasn't bad at all. It was heading out in the morning on the boat that felt cold.

Yeah, I remember that weekend too. We were out with Abucs on that weekend doing the keystorm. Water was still in the mid 50s but the air temp was close to freezing. Chilly ride back, to say the least, in that open boat.

We dove the Lillie/Gaskin Saturday, 62 degrees. Today (Monday) two dives on the Keystorm, 54 & 53 degrees. Big difference in temps, but at least the river was pretty calm today, as opposed to Sat/Sun.
