Truk Lagoon Expedition

Hi all,

On February 17, 1944 - Operation Hailstorm - a surprise attack by United States Navy aircraft caught Japanese merchant vessels and warships by surprise in Truk Lagoon.
More than 400 tons of bombs and torpedo were dropped. Attacks continued on February 18, 1944.
Lot of ships were sunk and thousands of Japanese were lost.
I´d like to share my videos - Truk Lagoon Expedition - The best wreck diving in the world - Federated States of Micronesia . .
video 01: YouTube - Truk Lagoon Expedition - Vídeo 1
video 02: YouTube - Truk Lagoon - Coming Back to Life - Video 2
Best,
Adair

I was there in March, 07 for 8 nights at Blue Lagoon. Stunning diving, spiritual, really. I relived it all again thanks to your great video.

Good to see you finally post it here on Scubaboard --again good work!

btw, I saw a short clip of the Wrecks of the Coral Sea on YouTube (do a search); it reminded me of my Truk Trips as well as your videos.

(Recognize any of these Truk Wreck pictures?)
