the mrs and i thoroughly enjoyed oursleves for 10 days in palau with a stay on the agressor (what a crew!) and i thought i would link my photo gallery. i can't thank doug sloss enough for the insight and guidance he provided me for using a camera underwater. also, noticed he got plenty of accolades, and deservedly so, in the latest scuba diving mag. now i need lots more practice. can't wait to return

Lee, just looked at your shots, some really nice stuff there.
I really liked the grey reef with the coral in the foreground, a fantastic sunset shot, and of course the little box full of glassy sweepers off Orange Beach, very nice.
Also Sweetie and Jellyfish Lake, seems like you had a very successful trip. Nicely done
thanks for the nice comments mike. doug and hector spoke very highly of you and it was apparent they all missed hanging out with you every day. You have obviously made a big impact on each of them and yes, doug has some amazing photos and i'm sure we'll see more of his and lorenza's work in publications in the future. we savored the entire experience. it was the first time in my life i was not psyched to return to san francisco from vacation which says a lot.
The Palau Aggressor is great. I now fear all my future dive vacations will be a disappointment. I share your feelings about how Doug is a great inspiration for a budding photographer. After all it is not like he has been doing it for 20 years. He shows that if you apply yourself you can become competent (assuming one has the necessary aesthetic sensibilities).
I loved the way everyone was cross-trained on the Aggressor crew athough some could drive the dive boat better than others. Even had the captain busing tables once.
Survivor fans: The "luxury yacht" in the last episode (actually filmed last year) on which 3 people won a respite was the Aggressor. Capt. Mike was in his dress whites. They kept it all mum when I was on it a couple months ago so it was really fun to be surprised to see it.
