Welcome to the Pacific Northwest Orca Bait forum!
Use this forum for discussing local PNW issues, arranging dive trips and get togethers.
Now... getting down to business... I have been informed that we need to come up with a forum nickname and mascot... why? I have no idea.
Input suggestions in this thread.

Mascot is obvious...
Hey, there is no other critter more appropriate for the PNDF than the venerable Geoduck.

This is too cool!
I like the six-gill idea but...how about something to do with "green water"...the green water geoducks perhaps?

Gotta go with the GPO, Vanna
I'm in favor of the giant pacific octopus, personally. since we're discussing it.
Or the grunt sculpin. They make me laugh every single time I see one.
I can't believe we're discussing mascots.
Does Hawaii count as "Pacific Northwest"? Just curious. I'm thinking of scheduling a DIR-F on Maui over Thanksgiving.

Good suggestions so far, guys. I think the GPO is most characteristic of our area, but at the same time, "Orca Bait" has some nice character to it.

spread the word
Whenever you notice someone on Scuba Board from the PNW be sure to point them to our own local forum. Hopefully we can arrange some Scuba Board dives here.
