I'm coming up to Seattle to visit family around Thanksgiving and Christmas and was wondering what the diving is like around those times. I have a 7mm Farmer John and I had talked to people who dove in Vancouver with similar gear and been fine. What do y'all think?
Also, where are some nice places to dive close to the Seattle/Edmonds area? I've heard of the underwater park in Edmonds and, if I drag my gear up, I likely would try to dive there, but am not sure of other places that would be good for a fairly novice diver. I have a brother who dives, but he has fewer dives than me, and I don't know if he wants to get wet when it's cold out, so I don't even have a buddy lined up yet.
