    Tom McMillan & George Armstrong

George has been gone for some time.

He started Trident divers in San Antonio and certified me in 1968 at the age of ten.

Tom took over and continued to run the place until he passed in a motorcycle accident.

He looked like an old pirate with a parrot on his shoulder.

Meaner than hell with a heart of gold.

Don Hubley continued to operate the facility until it was sold out to Dive Masters.

    Rest in Peace guys

Wow.....Tom Mcmillan....brings back memories of UDT night assaults on the show area in Aquarena Springs. Drunken excursions to the riverbed at North Park. Debbie Does Dallas and Deep Throat movie night. Firing the canon at 3:00 in the morning till we couldn't get anyone stupid enough or sober enough to continue loading it. (or until the County Sheriffs showed up)

    Sold to Dive Masters????

Does anyone know or remember the story of George Armstrong. I have a version that was told to me by one of his relatives, but I have trouble verifying it.

He was a real nice guy when sober.

When he drank he would beat the hell out of cops.

    One shot and killed him.

Thats what I had heard with the exception that he was drunk, on acid, and threatening the cop with a pool cue.
