    Joe Steffen... five years!

Tomorrow, February 4, will be the fifth anniversary of Joe Steffen's death. Joe was a great guy, loved in the tec/cave community and was part of an expedition exploring the Bell Island Mine in Newfoundland, when he perished.

Those of us who knew Joe were lucky. I think of him often (always when I eat Sushi), the last time was swimming through King's Canyon at JB a couple of weeks ago.

If you have time to raise a glass on Saturday, join me in raising it to Joe's memory.

Consider it done, rest in peace.
