Dive Insurance: Any alternatives to DAN?

I'm looking for dive insurance for myself and other family members. Are there any other providers other than DAN in the Philippines? I've checked out the PADI/Horsell site but they tell me their insurance program is only available for PADI members (instructors, dive masters, etc.).

Any ideas? I'm new to this group, and just getting used to navigating the Board, so I would also appreciate being referred to threads that may have already discussed this issue. Thanks!

DAN-SEAP is a great program. Finding another insurance that covers divers is nearly impossible. If you call the chambers in Manila they can tell you which insurance they take. See the post about hyperbaric chambers in PPD.

Have you checked out Dive Assure? I don't know if they will cover you but they are another big name in dive insurance.

Yes thanks I tried going to Vicencia Buckley and they are mainly for US residents. If you're not a US resident you have to be PADI Professional Members or members of the PADI Diving Society.

Re DAN-SEAP, I've heard that they don't pay Philippine claims because they've had recent bad experiences with overpriced medical providers.
