Can anyone offer feedback from experience on;
Pangalo Island Nature Resort, Pangalo Island, Bohol?

So many places on Alona Beach are full all ready but these guys have a room for me and it looks ok.

the place is not along alona beach. too far from it and there is no public transpo going to alona. am not even sure if they have diving there. diving may cost more because of the distance.
on the upside, its a very nice resort. i think its the best bohol has to offer--for non-divers.

They have diving although I'd probably hire non-public transporation to get to my shop (unless their shop is competitive). I'm just wondering about the resort itself. Best in Bohol? Sounds like just the ticket, thanks! Anyone else been there?

It's a nice resort, stayed there last May 2005. Nice service but the food ain't that great. Also, my room had a jacuzzi in the patio.

Rik, lemme try to dig up some hotel pamphlets I picked up while walking around Alona Beach. I have to agree with Caloy, try to stay in Alona Beach. More enjoyable me thinks (more options for dining, drinking...)

yep PINR is not on Alona Beach, Alona Palm on the other hand is beautiful. the last time I inquired it was $120 per night (Just this september) . I was enchanted by their infinity pool and their beach front is the best in all alona, wide and combed everyday.

If you plan to stay in PINR, and want to go diving, there is Prosafari divers who can pick you up for free from your resort and back. Bohol Divers Resort is also nice, you can check out their website at http://www.boholdivers-resort.com. Phildivers Diveshop is at Bohol Divers resort.

Thanks for the info. I checked Alona Beach first. They say they're all booked for the dates I want. Pretty much all the hotels I've checked with are all booked. I like Pangalo Resort, even if I have to take a cab for 10 minutes to get to Alona Beach but they've been slow in answering. I just mailed Alona Kew, so we'll see what they say. I'll check with the operators you mentioned next. Thanks for the advice. PDP is always so helpful!
