Ey Pips,

Has anybody tried this?

My friend and I were planning on tripping out and doing a day trip in Matabungkay. (he said the reef was slowly getting better) Problem is, going back we'd have to pass by Tagaytay...

I read in a DAN publication that there's a chance you can get bent if you go to Tagaytay after diving. If we do 3 dives in Matabungkay, then head back, SIT will probably be max 1hour.

Probably same scenario if you live in Baguio and dive La union. Anybody here from Baguio that tried this already? :)

Too risky???

I do it often

IIRC tagaytay is only about 2000 ft above sea level though it may be wise to rest awhile if youve been diving aggresively.

I've gone up to Tagaytay after having done a tech dive to 70 meters. I do not believe that Baguio is high enough to get a recreational diver bent after a dive. To get to half the pressure of sea level, you'd have to climb to 18 or 19 thousand feet.
