How long is this intro dive? If it's just a 40 foot reef dive for 30-40 minutes there will be no "difference" to see. Unless of course you are going to also provide the classroom and go over NDL's on nitrox, the actual tables showing the "differences" in dive planning, and the cons(depth restrictions) as well as the benefits. To imply as your post seems to indicate that one dive will result in actual physical and mental differences that will be discernible to the avg diver is misleading.

Not only for 10 and 12 mtrs dives, You can dive up to 30 to 40 mtrs. depend on the mix then you can see the difference.
2nd, Using Nitrox is very useful specially if you use it for second dive even at same depth at very short surface interval. This is also useful for Photographers who dive more than an our." don't forget, Nitrox means LESS Nitrogen MORE Oxygen" so less absorption of nitrogen( inert gas) to your tissues.
