I am hoping to begin the I.D.C. offered by Thresher Shark Divers in Cebu (?)
I currently have a NASE O.W. Instructor rating, and would like to satisfy the course requirements to transfer to PADI, since it is universally recognized and respected. I have family in the Philippines too, and have never had the opportunity to visit there before. I would appreciate any experiences of visiting and diving over there that anyone may have. I am also curious if anyone may know if full time employment is readily available over there? I live in Northern Virginia, and I have found that instructors are often independent contractors who assist with classes when needed, if at all. I am hoping to relocate there, and do this full time.
