Philippines during Chinese NY - how to avoid the crowd?
Hi, I am planning to visit the Philippines from 21 to 29 January, but am not to keen on overcrowded resorts or dive sites. Any recommendations? I will be flying in from Hong Kong. I don't want to go to Anilao as I will be spending a whole week there in April/May.
I have never experienced over crowding on CNY. Not everyone here looks at it as a real national holiday.
The only thing I observed is the prices of flights go up to HK. So I would think most of the Chinoys and Non Chinoys are taking a vacation to HK at that time.
The only time I seen resorts to be over crowding is around Christmas and Holy Week.
