Hodge...I'm in Dumaguete right now by the way, let us all know what you are after are I'm sure there are enough of us on these boards who can point you in the right direction.

Do they support Dolphin Rebreather (sorb) (tanks)

Do they dive 80CF and are 100cf available for OC

What are water temps.

IS February or March a good time to go.

Don't know about rebreathers

They have 80s and 100s (both DIN & yoke) for open circuit. Banked 32% Nitrox, too.

Minimum temps first week of November 79 - 82.

Hodgey Podgey boy....we had a brilliant time diving from Atmosphere Resort (which I recommend incredibly highly....just the best dive resort I've been to). Both the diving along the Dauin coastline and over at Apo ISsland way exceeded m expectations. I have a gallery of underwater images at and a gallery of resort photos at-

The only thing that is disappointing is that the Ducomi Pier is still off limits.
I've done an article on Atmosphere and Dumaguete diving for Sportdiving magazine (will be published April/May 2012). I can send you a .pdf copy if you pm me your e-mail.

Cheers!

Wiggsy.

I've been to Atlantis Dumaguete twice, the last time earlier this in February, so the period of time you're asking about. I'm not really aware of a Dumaguete "season" but conditions were good...had no rain, vis probably 20 meters plus...more at Apo and Siquijor, water temps upper 20s. You won't find a better run resort than Atlantis..from the dive team, to the accommodation (especially with the reasonable prices), food is outstanding. Their unlimited dive package allows you to do up to 5 boat dives per day. Would highly recommend staying here.

I did 5 dives each day, but some of the night dives were shore dives. No complaints from me, though, I LIKE shore diving (especially in totally benign conditions) and I LOVE the Atlantis house reef. At least 4 different types of environments, lots of life - from large turtles to tiny ghost pipe fish. One word of caution: I was sure that I had a regulator leak, as I heard a loud crackling sound as I descended. Later, I figured out that it was the sound of the artificial reef. Like I said, it's full of life.

Just booked 2 weeks with 12 nites at Dumaguete for February 10 -24. Been taking to allot of people and no negatives, just glowing reports. One exception was the higher price. 5 dives a day X 12 = 60 dives WOW.

Looks like about 20 plus hours of air travel.

Was scheduled to leave tomorrow for Caymans but the whole family got sick and had to pull the trigger on the travel insurance. Just hope I did not get scammed by Travel Guard.
