Am planning a trip with the family to dive the wrecks in Coron later this year and was wondering whether anyone on SB has recommendations for economical and clean hotels or B&B's in Coron town. Thanks.
The accommodation choices for the general Coron area are quite varied, although if your Keen to stay in Coron Town itself the options are a lot more limited.
I'd recommend Rock Steady as a great dive operator (slightly off-topic for the post), they also have links with most resorts/B+Bs in the town/local area so could help there also.
Sea Dive resort is okay to stay (it's right walking distance to most of Coron town), but I'd avoid diving with any operator who's main advertisement is 'in-house decompression chamber' - operators not normally needing a decompression chamber are highly recommended over those that do! The chamber is a good thing to have, but not when it's only needed because it's regularly needed by the operator running it!
