    Hey Kenr, I was on Alona last August. I tried to stay at Oasis per your recommendation but they were full. Have another trip planned for November. Will be at Alona beach again for 4 days then off to another location which is undecided at the moment. I have already reserved Oasis and diving with Seaquest.

    There is a lot to do for the non diver in Bohol. We stayed at the Alona Beach hotel, at the quiet end of the beach. Decent for a swim and an easy walk for dinner.
    They had a nice dive shop with everything you would need. I did Balicasag Island and it was nice.

    That is interesting.
    You do need a very very powerful boat to do that.
