More areas were placed under Signal No. 3 as typhoon #Santi (international name #Nari) intensified further as it moved towards Aurora-Isabela area midday Friday.

Areas under storm signals were warned of flashfloods and landslides.
Sea travel is risky over the seaboard of Luzon and of Eastern Visayas.
Heavy to intense rains were seen within the 500 kilometer-diameter of “Santi.”

Latest update on Typhoon Santi (Nari). The storm continues to intensify.

Zambales (here in Subic Bay) now under storm signal 3, the highest level of warning (Winds of 101-185 kph is expected in at least 18 hrs). Estimated rainfall amount is from 7.5 - 30.0 mm per hour (Heavy - Intense) within the 500 km diameter of the Typhoon.
