I drove into Tagbilaran City the day after the earthquake as well as to Baclayon. The extent of the damge in Bohol is quite severe in some areas. Houses have collapsed near the epicenter in Carmen. I posted a few photos on my website:

Thanks for sharing, as I don't follow the news and didn't even know there was an earthquake.
 
How is the Alona beach area? I am supposed to go early November and am wondering if it is still standing...
 
Feel so sad. The Chocolate Hills in bohol is also affected.

Yes, the main viewing deck was destroyed, The epicenter was in Sagbayan and the damage is extensive. About six to eight other towns were also extensively damaged.
