Hi, my husband has heard good things about Halo anilao dive resort but sent an email to them 6 days ago enquiring about making some reservations. He has not heard back from them so far.

Does anyone know much about this resort ? We heard its new ? Hubby is advanced open water, nitrox, deep qualifications etc. so about 90 dives under his belt...is it worth going this far for diving ? He will be in Singapore in May and was going to add this trip on to the end of that one.

Thanks.

Hi. Anilao has many interesting dive sites so long as you're not expecting pelagics. Halo is a very good resort in the area and they do have very well trained Dive Instructors and Guides who can help you maximize your enjoyment of the area. They also have very clean air and do carry Nitrox as well. Let me know if you have difficulty reaching them still. I can call them to tell them to get in touch with you.

Cheers!

Juan

For whatever reasons some of the operators do not seem to check its own e-mail regularly!! Face book could be better because I supsect the staff spend more time on his/her smart phone than compouter!!
Keep trying but there are other operators to consider in Anilao.

That's not so odd. Sometimes here its better to call them. If you pm me your email address I can tell them to contact you if you still want to check them out. Yes, there are several other operators depending on your budget. Anilao is a town full of dive resorts.

Depends on which resort you are talking about!!!
What is the point of having internet while the management couldn't be bothered to check it regularly?
Philippines is 8hrs ahead on GMT so a phone call from London is not that straight forward. BTW, who is going to pay the IDD?

I have no idea what the point is. But it's possible that they may have missed it. I was going to tell them to email you and not call long distance. Doesn't make sense to call really and I never suggested it. Anyway, hope you find a good resort.

so many resorts in Anilao, get one that at least responds to your emails, don't waste time with others

Very true about other resorts in Anilao. Check out Crystal Blue. One of the best photo resorts around with Mike, the resident pro, and a huge photo center.
