Has anybody out there made their own ankle weights? I want to add 1# to each ankle but am a big guy diving a big drysuit. I have found some weights that would likely work but thought a DIY project might be fun.

I did try to search for something but did not see anything. Anbody have ideas/pictures for a DIY newbie?
 
I don't if this will help you or not, but instead of ankle wieghts I added 2 pounds to each of my fins when I made adapters for my spring straps fit my drysuit boots. I made them out of 1/2 Stainless I had at work.

How much do you figure that added per foot? That is not a way I would have ever thought to tackle it but it is an excellent idea.
