I just don't log dives
I have been very tempted to get a Sola light, but it seems every time I am about to "pull the trigger" and buy one, I read another post somewhere about dead lights and problems with short battery life. Then I read a post where someone says they had some early problems but are largely sorted out now and of course, others who have had no problems at all. Nothing surprising in that.

When I dive, I travel, and really don't want to have a problem. I keep hearing L&M have great customer service and will fix anything that goes wrong, but that only goes so far when some expensive bit of equipment is useless on a dive trip. It's great if they will repair or replace it when I get home, but... Great customer service is wonderful, but I would really rather not have to use it.

So, anyone have any recent experience in this regard?
