I recently purchased Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum to edit my underwater videos.
I have a Canon SD780IS that shoots 720p HD .MOV video at 30fps, and I've been a little confused and intimidated by the the many choices when it comes to rendering. I would like to be able to render a very high quality video to save on my hard drive and render a high quality video for youtube, and I'm wondering what the best render settings, file types, and or codecs I should be working with are.
I'm not afraid of long render times, I just want the video to look good and run smooth.
