I do lots of video work between the surface and 30', but I have a project at 200' and need some advice. Is it reasonable to dive gas at that depth or should I go straight to an ROV? I'm out of my league here as a diver.

Get the ROV.

You're talking about carefully planned decompression diving and probably Trimix or other multi-gas diving to safely operate at that depth for any length of time. If nothing else you probably don't have the time involved to get that sort of technical training done anytime soon.

I'm a tech diver. 200' is a deco stop. That being said, I'd still get the rov. Who wouldn't want an rov? It's every grown mans( big kid ) wet dream to have their own underwater robot
