"Public Safety Diving Symposium"

Safety is No Accident
Join us for the areas first Public Safety Divers Symposium sponsored by 1 877 SCUBA USA and Emergency Response Diving International.
Public Safety Diving has turned the corner in the 21st Century and the ERDI Course Curriculum is leading the way
Most of today's teams were formed by groups of divers who were dedicated to protecting their local community by responding to aquatic emergencies. These first teams were often under funded and in some cases unappreciated.
Today teams have matured to professional levels with commitment to answering the call and facing the new hazards brought on by an ever shrinking world.
Emergency Response Diving International has developed a program to meet the challenge and give the modern public safety diver the knowledge and skills needed to engage and safely resolve the ever widening range of jobs they will be called upon to respond to.
ERDI affiliation connects its members to a truly international community of public safety divers and departments.

ERDI's multi level certification offers each team the opportunity to designate department members for specific duties and to certify as ERDI Supervisors, members from within its own ranks. An ERDI supervisor will be kept informed on all latest advances and changes. This in turn keeps allows the Supervisor to keep team members updated and informed.
ERDI’s strong emphasis on the right gear for the job, addresses past issues with the inappropriate use of recreational equipment in public safety Diving.

ERDI’s continuing support network guarantees that facilities such as 1 877 SCUBA USA can support a departments Training, Equipment and Service needs, however demanding.

ERDI’s innovative approach to education enables the program to evolve with the ever changing mission of the Public Safety Diver.

Emergency Response Diving International Training is available to all Interested Departments through 1 877 SCUBA USA in Little Ferry, NJ.

ERDI’s 21st century system of training truly differs from traditional methods.

If your department responds to any type of water related calls, currently supports a dive team or are thinking about forming one, plan on attending.
