Well, I finally took the time and started our Facebook Page. Here is the link. The Team is the Lower Kiski Emergency Services - Water Team in case the link doesn't work.
I have posted a number of past incidents where we had available photos. More updates will be forthcoming if you want to like the page, you will see our updates.
We have continued to update our page and mission statement. Since we are a relatively new team (2007) it has been a great way for the general public to understand what we do. Some private organizations have donated funds as a result. Since we are 98% self funded, it has provided much needed support.
We started one about 9 months ago and have gotten mixed results. So far its been a good tool for our members and even some of our community members have begun to follow us. Link below:
