I'd like to go this weekend if the weather holds. NOAA says it's going to be 2 feet or less through Friday.

Let me know your plans. I'm on call New Year's Eve and New Year's Day but have the weekend free -- unless my wife has plans for me I don't know about yet!

    It worked!

Thanks everyone - Your motivational and tough love posts got me off my lazy behind and motivated me to get out there and join some of my dive buddies this weekend for a bit of submerged rebreathing time, and I had a great time!

Here's a short trip report of Sunday's dives, w/ pics, I posted within the Florida S.C.R.U.B.'s section on Rebreather World (RW):

FL S.C.R.U.B.'s Trip Report w/Pics: Captain Dan Wreck & Shark Reef: 01-11-2009 - Rebreather World

Oh, and someone previously asked what Florida S.C.R.U.B.'s was? Well, it's an unofficially title we've assigned to all rebreather divers who dive with us in South Florida. It's kind of like the "Florida Conch Divers" here on Scubaboard, and we have our own dedicated forum on RW as well. It was conceived by one of RW's moderators, Howard Packer (A.K.A. ScubaDadMiami).

Since we're a pretty active rebreather diving community in Florida, and are pretty actively posting upcoming dives and trip reports on the message boards, we've become quite a popular group, even though we have no official club structure or meetings.

Consequently, lots of rebreather divers come to South Florida from all over the U.S., and from all over the world as well, and dive with us, and usually coordinate dives online with us in advance.

Oh, and in case you were wondering, it's stands for...

for me it was definitely a warm water vs cold water thing.

After diving in 25C water I did very little diving back home (20C). Now that I have bought a CCR, I'm almost forced to pullout the dry suit and do some dives
