Any non-cattle car in Sharm, liveaboard from Sharm or Hughada? Recos, experience?

We've decided on four days of diving(8-10 dives), in sharm if we can find a small-group boat dive op. We also want to include the Thistlegorm wreck. Alternatively, we could do a liveaboard if the price is equivalent. Does anyone have any experience to share to help us choose?

had a GREAT experience aboard the MV Tala out of Hurghada. Liveaboard but good food, acommodations, equipment and air quality. have no idea for rec divers what the costs are.

oh, btw, the Thistle is AMAZING. try to see it at night too. one more thing, the Tala has scooters to rent, which were well worth the cost -- they allow you to see so much more on each dive i highly recommend spending the extra $. we saw 4 wrecks in one dive, all before breakfast. ;-)

Yes a three days liveaboard out of Sharm to visit Ras Mohamed and Thistlegorm is frequently organized; reasonable cost and more dives. PM me for more info.

Dive Africa. Small dive op, never seen a crowded boat in some 75 dives with them.

VIP One - only takes 14 guests, so nowhere near the crowds you get on a 20-24 person boat. Older design, but well taken care of, good crew, good food, and you get all the wrecks and reefs of the northern Red Sea.
