    Vipers known for 'hard-to-press' pruges

Have you read the Divernet March 2002 review of the Viper Tech?

    http://www.divernet.com/equipment/0302regtest2.htm

They say the purge is so difficult to press that one of the test divers described it as "dangerous"!

Not my idea of a desirable regulator!

its not impossible to depress but not as easy...

its not impossible to depress but not as easy like other regs, this is good becuae this means that it wont be depressed from moving in the water(ie normal kikcing or from giant stride entry) also it doenst breathe wet at all unless your mouth pice isnt seated right

if you get water in it from a reg exchange simple exhale into it and depress the purge button and the water is out.

personally i love the vipers ( i have the america) and it keeps my jaw fatigue at a min, but i would love to have the metal or gold for cold weather.

    FWIW
