I've noticed that my wife's Mares Abyss MR22 regulator is louder than my older Aqua Lung (US Divers) SEAS/Arctic regulator in normal operation. I really notice it during air share exercises when we trade regulators and you can get a quick A/B comparison. It's not a huge difference, but noticeable.
I was just wondering, this being the "Silent World" and all, does anybody notice or even care how loud their regulator is?
Has anybody ever changed regulators to get a quieter one?
Does anybody know of any regulators that are significantly louder or quieter than others?
